LTO Maxell Ultrium 3 features a native transfer rate of 40-80MB/sec and native capacity of 400GB (80-160MB/Sec and 800GB compressed). Cartridge memory is 4KB LTO-CM. This latest generation provides improved archival application, superior durability and very low error rate levels. Offers backward compatibility with earlier generations, allowing LTO-3 end-users continued access to Ultrium 1 and 2 tape archives and providing investment security for years to come. Features write-once WORM functionality, allowing secure backup and storage of critical data for legal and regulatory compliance. Extremely smooth, high-rigidity PEN base film to ensure smooth magnetic surface and low noise levels for high-density data recording. The PEN base film allows improved dimensional stability during drive operation for more accurate recording and excellent archival storage. LTO 3 delivers extremely high output and enhanced stability for signal reading and writing.
